During the budget session, the Hon’ble President will address the members of both the Houses in the existing Parliament House. After this tweet by the Lok Sabha Speaker, it has become clear that this time the budget session will be held in the present Parliament.

Budget session claims to be held in the new Parliament House

Earlier it was claimed in the media reports that this time the budget session could be held in the new Parliament House. It was said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can present the budget 2023-2024 in the new Parliament House on 1 February. Why is the budget session necessary?

The budget session of the Parliament will start from January 31, 2023, which will run till April 6.
